Individual Ceramic 4
An individual ceramic which was made by combining thrown, slabbed and modelled forms, by artist and potter, Arthur Watson. Arthur has many years of experience, to develop a competence and skills which are reflected in his artwork. He blends the clay body with which he works from raw materials, to provide a durable, stoneware, throwing clay. The interior is a light blue shiny glaze, and the dry, dark blue exterior glaze "breaks" to enhance the decorative, stamped features. Whilst this vessel is a stand-alone sculpted ceramic, it also possesses functionality as a vessel. It measures 7.5 inches in height and 5 inches in width and is highly collectable as a modern contemporary ceramic.
